• Postgraduate - MBBS, FCPS, M.S, FRCS, Diplomat American Board, in Paediatric Neurosurgery, recognised by Pakistan Medical Commission
• MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC
• Registered with the PMDC
• FCPS, M.S, FRCS or Diplomat American Board in Paediatric Neuro Surgery or equivalent qualification recognized by the PMDC
• Alternatively the same post-graduate qualification in Paediatric Surgery or General Surgery, or in Neuro Surgery, with one year experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Neuro Surgery in a PMDC recognized institution
• Punjab domicile

• No prior experience is required for this post.
• No experience is required with the post-graduate qualification in Paediatric Neuro Surgery; alternative routes require one year experience after post-graduation in Paediatric Neuro Surgery in an institution recognized by the PMDC. Conditions of experience: only practical experience in a recognized institution issued by the appointing authority or PMDC/PMC after the prescribed qualification is considered, supported by appointment letters, notifications or office orders. Government sector contract, current charge, acting charge and ad-hoc experience is accepted if issued by the appointing/competent authority or PMDC/PMC. OPS/designated (up to 17.06.2021 only), BOM, TTS and university cadre experience is considered only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC. Foreign, autonomous body and private institution experience is accepted only if recognized and issued by PMDC/PMC.
