About this vacancy
Contract basis for a period of 03 years (extendable on good performance). Case No. 38-RD/2026. Domicile: Candidates domiciled in any district of the Province of Punjab. Place of posting: Various Teaching Hospitals in the Punjab. PMDC/PMC registration showing requisite qualifications should be valid up to the closing date (or applied for renewal on/before closing date). Only practical experience in recognized institutions with appointment/experience letters counts; experience on OPS/designated basis (up to 17.06.2021), BOM, TTS etc. is counted only if issued by appointing authority/PMDC/PMC; experience from foreign/autonomous bodies/private institutions counted only if recognized by PMDC/PMC. The recruitment is conducted by Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) on behalf of Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department, Punjab.
Eligibility criteria
- Master's - MBBS, FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD, Diplomate American Board, in Medicine, recognised by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council, Pakistan Medical Commission
- MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMC
- FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomate American Board in the respective specialty recognized by PMC
- OR equivalent postgraduate qualification with 3 years post-graduation experience in the specialty
- Valid PMDC/PMC registration
Experience required
- If FCPS/MS/FRCS/MRCP/MD/Diplomate American Board in Surgery is not available: MRCP/FRCS/MS/Diplomate American Board (General Surgery or Medicine) or equivalent with 3 years post-graduation practical experience in the respective specialty in a recognized institution.
- Experience accepted from: Recognized institutions, Government, Teaching Hospitals
Age limit
- Male: 25 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)
- Female: 25 – 45 years (+8 years relaxation)
- Transgender: 25 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)
- Age is counted on the closing date, 26 Oct 2026.
