About this vacancy
Senior Manager Procurement for the Project Implementation and Management Unit of the Punjab Rural Sustainable Water Supply and Sanitation Project (World Bank funded).
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on procurement activities including development and implementation of the project procurement plan as per World Bank and Government of Punjab guidelines
- Lead development, review, updating and implementation of the Procurement Plan
- Develop and implement the PIMU's procurement requirements including scope of work, performance objectives and technical specifications
- Verify and vet standard bidding documents and add special terms and conditions where required
- Ensure effective implementation of all procurement processes including shopping method, publication of advertisements, EOIs and RFPs
- Supervise evaluation of bids and preparation, submission and finalization of bid evaluation reports
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Masters degree in Procurement & Contracts Management, Business Administration or Project Management, or BSc Engineering, in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Procurement Management, Contract Management, recognised by HEC
- Experience of procurement under PPRA and under ADB, World Bank and other international donor guidelines
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- In general 08 years of relevant work experience in matters related to procurement and bids administration, including 4 years of experience working on similar projects or assignments
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Donor-Funded Projects
