FOSPAH invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the post of Staff Officer on regular basis at its Head Office, Islamabad. Women, minorities and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
Duties and responsibilities
- Perform duties as Personal Staff Officer (PSO) to the Hon'ble Ombudsperson FOSPAH
- Coordination and liaison with government offices, corporate and non governmental organizations for official meetings, conferences and seminars nationally and internationally
- Compile briefs, summaries and background material on issues requiring the Ombudsperson's attention or decision
- Draft and process correspondence and track pending decisions and deadlines
- Support the Communications Department for coordination with print and electronic media, including arranging interviews and media engagements
- Arrange travel, logistics and security arrangements for visits of the Ombudsperson
- Any other task assigned by the Ombudsperson
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree or 16-year equivalent in Social Sciences from a HEC recognized university
- Minimum 5 years experience as Staff Officer in BPS-17 or equivalent in a government institution
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Established record of coordination with national and international organizations
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 10 years
- Minimum 10 years of experience in administrative capacity and minimum five years experience in a Staff Officer role in BPS-17 or equivalent in a government institution
Age limit
- All candidates: 35 – 45 years
