Sub-Engineer / Field Officer

Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Limited (PIDCL), Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan invites applications for the post of Sub-Engineer / Field Officer (2 posts) at Islamabad on open merit, purely on contract basis, extendable annually upon satisfactory performance. The recruitment is conducted by ETC-HEC on behalf of Pakistan Infrastructure Development Company Ltd..

• Diploma - DAE (Civil), DAE (Mechanical), DAE (Electrical), in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, recognised by Board of Technical Education
• Government employees must submit NOC with CV
• Candidate must be eligible in all respects for the post

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Verbal Reasoning - 20%
• Analytical Reasoning - 10%
• Civil Engineering Drawings (Architecture, Structure, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Surveying etc.) - 15%
• Construction Supervision incl. Construction Safety - 15%
• Construction Materials Testing - 15%
• Project Management (Specifications, Tender Documents, Variations, Claims, EOT, Procurement, Contract Negotiations) - 15%
• Estimation incl. Contractor/Subcontractor Quotations, Project Costs and Variations - 10%

100 MCQs test conducted by Education Testing Council (ETC), HEC in Islamabad and Karachi as per PIDCL proposed content weightages. Test fee Rs. 2,000 (non-refundable) via 1Link/1Bill. Original CNIC/Passport and ETC roll number slip mandatory on test day.

The test is conducted by ETC-HEC. Roll number slips and test dates are announced on their official website - check it rather than waiting to be contacted.
