The Local Government, Elections & Rural Development Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites online applications from self-motivated, energetic and result oriented candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the Newly Merged Districts, for appointment in the Project Coordination & Monitoring Unit (PCMU) established under the Peshawar Revitalization Plan (ADP project). This post is Architect with a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 110,000. The appointment is purely on fixed pay basis initially for a period of six (06) months from the date of joining, or until completion of the project or winding up of the PCMU, whichever is earlier. The posts are project posts and will stand abolished automatically on completion of the project or winding up of the PCMU. A lump sum pay package will be offered as per Government Project Policy. Errors and omissions are subject to rectification. The advertisement does not specify the number of posts for this position. • Review architectural layouts, facade designs and urban space remodelling concepts submitted by executing agencies
• Ensure design interventions maintain the cultural heritage, aesthetic consistency and functionality of Peshawar’s public spaces
• Collaborate with civil engineers to ensure structural execution matches design specifications
• Conduct site visits to verify that spatial layouts and finishing works meet approved architectural standards

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch), recognised by HEC Recognized University / Institution
• Valid registration with the Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) is mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in preparation and review of architectural drawings and specifications, site inspections, design coordination, consultant and contractor coordination, and monitoring compliance with approved designs
• Experience in urban revitalization, public spaces, streetscapes, parks, institutional or public buildings or other urban development projects shall be preferred
• Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including the Newly Merged Districts
• Candidates should be eligible in all respects by the last date of receipt of applications
• Incomplete applications and applications received after the due date will not be entertained
• Candidates working in Government, Semi-Government or Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel
• Candidates intending to apply for more than one post shall apply separately for each post with a separate fee
• Original documents along with one set of attested copies of all relevant documents shall be produced at the time of interview
• Unclaimed qualification or experience will not be accepted
• In case of a foreign degree, an equivalency certificate from HEC must be provided
• Candidates who do not give correct information while filling the online application form will not only be rejected but will also be proceeded against under the relevant rules
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel any application or the recruitment process
• The recruitment process shall be governed by the latest provisions of the project policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
• No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview

• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, design review, site supervision or project monitoring, preferably in urban development, infrastructure, public-sector or development projects.

Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll No. Slip from www.etea.edu.pk; test date, time and venue will be mentioned on the Roll No. Slip. No separate call letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through postal or courier means.
