About this vacancy
Assistant Director (Cyber Security) in the Frequency Allocation Board on regular basis in EG-II, covering governance, risk and compliance, incident response and security monitoring.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Four years Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, in Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, minimum CGPA 3.5, recognised by HEC
- Four years Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or any other relevant field from a reputed local or foreign university duly recognized and verified by HEC
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 or 75% marks
- Security frameworks and regulatory requirements (PISF 2026, CERT Rules 2023, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
- Information security policies and SOPs, risk assessment and risk registers
- Cybersecurity incident response and VAPT (applications, web, network, systems)
- SIEM platforms, security monitoring and firewall controls
- Master's degree (18 years) preferred
- Valid registration from PEC or NCEAC preferred
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- Minimum 05 years of post-qualification experience with at least 2 years in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (GRC) roles in private, government, telecom or banking sector
- Experience accepted from: Private Sector, Government, Telecom, Banking
