About this vacancy
NDMA seeks to hire eligible candidates purely on contract basis on lump sum package for an initial period of 24 months (extendable on requirement basis). Posts filled on open merit basis. Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months. Lump-sum monthly package depends on domain skills and relevant experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and test AI/ML applications for disaster prediction, preparedness and response
- Support development of AI-enabled Course Instructor
- Undertake multi-source data ingestion, processing and analytics
- Develop and deploy LLM/RAG applications for NDMA CoE
- Develop dashboards and automated analytical workflows
- Validate model performance and maintain documentation
- Support AI governance, data quality and model monitoring
- Undertake rapid technology prototypes for C2DM Lab sessions
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BS/MS AI, BS/MS Data Science, BS/MS Computer Science, BS/MS Software Engineering, BS/MS Statistics, BS/MS Computational Sciences, in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, recognised by HEC
- Skills in Python, ML/AI frameworks, databases, APIs and data analytics desirable

Experience required
- Experience in AI/ML, predictive analytics, NLP/LLMs, computer vision, data engineering or decision-support applications preferred
