About this vacancy
Assistant Professor position at Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (Undergraduate Programs), Lahore. Temporary likely to be regular / contract as per PIFD Statutes. Application processing fee Rs. 1500 (non-refundable). Appointments as per prescribed provincial, regional, disabled, minority and gender quotas; unfilled quota posts filled on open merit.
Eligibility criteria
- PhD or MPhil or Master's or Bachelor's - PhD, Master's (Foreign), MPhil, First Professional Degree/Diploma (16 years), in Furniture Design, Fashion Marketing, Textile Design, Fashion Design, recognised by HEC
- No third division in academic career
- Applicants in Government service must apply through proper channel with NOC
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
- No TA/DA for test/interview
Experience required
- No experience with PhD; three years with foreign Master's/MPhil; five years with 16-year first professional degree (teaching/research in PIFD/HEC University/Post-graduate Institution or professional experience in National/International organization)
- Experience accepted from: PIFD, PSFD, HEC Recognized Universities, Post-graduate Institutions, National or International Organizations
