About this vacancy
Associate Professor position at Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design (School of Graduate Studies), Lahore. Temporary likely to be regular / contract as per PIFD Statutes. Application processing fee Rs. 2000 (non-refundable). Appointments as per prescribed provincial, regional, disabled, minority and gender quotas; unfilled quota posts filled on open merit.
Eligibility criteria
- PhD or MPhil or Master's - PhD in Design, Master in Design (M.Des), Master's (Foreign), MPhil, in Design, Fine Arts, recognised by HEC
- Outstanding professional Fashion/Design/Art activity with national or international contribution (exhibitions with two or more new works each or equivalent campaigns)
- Applicants in Government service must apply through proper channel with NOC
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview
- No TA/DA for test/interview
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 6 years
- Six years teaching/research experience in PIFD/HEC recognized University or Post-graduate Institution (with PhD; at least four years post-PhD experience after 30 June 2015, or five years post-PhD in PIFD) OR eight years teaching/research experience with at least four years after foreign Master's or equivalent
- Experience accepted from: PIFD, PSFD, HEC Recognized Universities, Post-graduate Institutions
