About this vacancy
Case No.F.4-127/2026-R (3/2026). Deputy Commandant (BS-19 plus Rs. 100 Special Pay), Temporary, may continue for indefinite period, Pakistan Marine Academy, M/o Maritime Affairs. Maximum age 45 years plus five (5) years general relaxation. Domicile / Quota: Punjab (Open Merit). Place of posting: Karachi. The recruitment is conducted by Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on behalf of Ministry of Maritime Affairs.
Eligibility criteria
- Certificate Of Competency - Certificate of Service as Master of Foreign-going ship, First Class Engineer Certificate
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- At least Five (5) years post qualification experience of Command or as Chief Engineer of ships AND at least Five (5) years post qualification experience of organizing training in training ships and training establishment
Age limit
- All candidates: 0 – 45 years (+5 years relaxation)
- Age is counted on the closing date, 31 Aug 2026.
