About this vacancy
Contractual appointment for a term of three (3) years, extendable on organizational need and performance. The Commission may consider regularization of the position after completion of three years. Age relaxation of 5 years for candidates with at least 3 years of work experience with a regulator.
Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the statutory provisions of the Companies Act, 2017 in respect of incorporation, post-incorporation and corporate governance matters
- Scrutinize, examine and process statutory returns, forms, applications and e-filings
- Initiate and pursue enforcement actions against non-filing and non-compliant companies
- Examine and dispose of complaints and grievances of investors, shareholders and other stakeholders
- Coordinate and exchange information with other regulatory bodies, government departments and law enforcement agencies
- Inspect company records and prepare para-wise comments, replies and written statements for court proceedings
- Support regulatory reforms, digitization initiatives and process-improvement projects
- Perform any other task or special assignment entrusted by the Registrar or the Commission
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Master's Degree, Bachelor's Degree (Hons) 16 Years, CA, CMA, ACCA, in Business Administration, Law, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Data Science, recognised by HEC
- Sound knowledge of the Companies Act, 2017 and related corporate, AML/CFT and regulatory laws
- Ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory provisions and draft notices, orders and legal comments
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Technologically adept with strong AI/IT skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu

- Strong planning, organizational and time-management skills
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 6 years
- Minimum 06 years of relevant post-qualification experience. In case of a qualified Chartered Accountant, CA Articleship will be considered as part of the requisite experience.
