Recruitment of Forest Guard (BPS-08) within the limits of the Kohistan Watershed Division, Besham, under the Forest Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. One post is advertised on open merit. The division covers Districts Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan, Kolai Palas Kohistan and Shangla. All appointments will be made on regular basis in accordance with the service rules of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. • Perform patrolling and protection duty in the Kohistan Watershed Division, Besham
• Serve at any place within the Kohistan Watershed Division as assigned

• Intermediate - Intermediate Science (F.Sc), recognised by Recognized Board
• Second Division Intermediate in Science (F.Sc) from any recognized board
• Minimum height 5 feet 6 inches
• Chest measurement minimum 32-34 inches
• Must complete a 3 kilometre run within 15 minutes
• Candidate must be free from any kind of disability
• Age between 18 and 25 years, with upper age relaxation as per existing rules
• Government and semi-government employees must apply through proper channel
• Experience certificates issued by government, semi-government and government project organizations must be countersigned by the head of the concerned organization; private sector experience is not accepted
• Candidates dismissed or removed from government service for misconduct are not eligible
• Foreign degree holders must produce an HEC equivalence certificate
• Selected candidates must complete one year of mandatory training at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School, Abbottabad
• Selected candidates who leave service before completion of three years must refund all training expenses
• Only verified degrees and certificates are accepted and verification is arranged at the candidate’s own expense
• Selected candidates are bound to serve at any place within the Kohistan Watershed Division

Candidates will appear in the ETEA screening test. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview and intimation of interview will be given through SMS. No call letter for the screening test will be issued by post or courier. Candidates will be informed through SMS by ETEA to download and print their Roll Number Slip from www.etea.edu.pk, on which the date, time and venue of the test will be mentioned.
