Recruitment of Forest Guard (BPS-08) in the Patrol Squad Lower Hazara Circle, Abbottabad, under the Forest Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The circle covers Districts Haripur, Abbottabad and Mansehra, including those areas of District Mansehra falling within Kaghan Forest Division and Siran Forest Division that are administered by Lower Hazara Forest Circle. Applications are invited against 03 vacant posts, comprising 02 posts on open merit and 01 post on minority quota. Under the new service rules 70 percent of the posts are filled on merit and 30 percent are reserved for persons who own forest land in the relevant Forest Division or hold rights of use; if sufficient candidates are not available against the 30 percent share, those posts are filled on merit quota. • Perform patrolling and protection duty in the Patrol Squad Lower Hazara Circle, Abbottabad
• Protect forest areas of Districts Haripur, Abbottabad and Mansehra falling under Lower Hazara Forest Circle

• Intermediate - Intermediate Science (F.Sc), recognised by Recognized Board
• Intermediate in Science (F.Sc) from any recognized board
• Minimum height 5 feet 6 inches
• Chest measurement minimum 32-34 inches
• Must complete a 3 kilometre run within 15 minutes
• Candidate must be free from any kind of disability
• Age between 18 and 25 years, with upper age relaxation as per existing rules
• Government and semi-government employees must apply through proper channel
• Candidates dismissed or removed from government service for misconduct are not eligible
• Foreign degree holders must produce an HEC equivalence certificate
• A separate application is required for each post
• Selected candidates must complete one year of mandatory training at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest School, Abbottabad
• Selected candidates who leave service before completion of three years must refund all training expenses
• Selected candidates are bound to perform duty in the Patrol Squad Lower Hazara Circle, Abbottabad
