Case No.F.4-167/2026-R (3/2026). Meteorologist (BS-17), Temporary but likely to be continued for an indefinite period, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Ministry of Defence. Domicile / Quota: Punjab=Four (Open Merit=Two, Women quota=One and Minorities/Non-Muslims quota=One), Sindh (Rural) (Open Merit)=One and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Open Merit)=One. Place of posting: Anywhere in Pakistan. The recruitment is conducted by Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) on behalf of Ministry of Defence.
Eligibility criteria
- Second Class or Grade 'C' Master's / Bachelor's (16 years education) degree in Meteorology / Seismology / Hydro-Meteorology / Hydrology / Geophysics / Geology / Geography / Physical Chemistry / Physics / Mathematics / Environmental Sciences / Climate Sciences / Atmospheric Sciences / Earth Sciences / Satellite Meteorology / Remote Sensing & Geographical Information System - Geo Information / Space Sciences / Agriculture Meteorology or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by HEC
Experience required
- No prior experience is required for this post.
