• MPhil - MS, MSc (Hons), MPhil, in Microbiology / Food Microbiology / Industrial Microbiology / Microbiology And Molecular Genetics, recognised by HEC
• MS or MSc (Hons) or MPhil in Microbiology or Food Microbiology or Industrial Microbiology or Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from an HEC recognized university
• Or Masters or BSc (Hons) or BS in the same fields with 02 years relevant experience

• No prior experience is required for this post.
• Two years relevant experience after acquiring the qualification is required only under the alternate qualification route of Masters or BSc (Hons) or BS. Experience of microbiological testing, equipment handling, chemical handling, good laboratory practices and hands on experience of pathogens testing and real time PCR testing. Only practical experience in the relevant field after the prescribed qualification is considered.

• Transgender: 23 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
