The Education Testing Council (ETC) is an independent, standardized testing body established by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Officially set up on January 25, 2017, and later revamped in August 2018 following Supreme Court directives, the ETC provides transparent, merit-based entry and evaluation tests for academic admissions and recruitment across Pakistan.
