About this vacancy
Assistant Manager Systems at the Punjab Information Technology Board, maintaining systems, endpoints and private cloud platforms.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provide systems analysis and application development expertise using Microsoft technologies
- Apply working knowledge of databases and project management methodologies or software such as Microsoft Project
- Deploy and administer Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutions
- Backup management
- Communicate effectively with users, translating technical concepts into clear non-technical language
- Ensure timely completion of all assignments with attention to detail
- Maintain and support systems to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for private cloud operations and critical OS issues including patching
- Conduct hypervisor maintenance and offer Level 1 and 2 support for platforms such as VMware, Huawei and Sangfor
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years), in Computational Science, Information Technology, Information Engineering/Sciences, Computer Engineering/Sciences, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience

- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
