About this vacancy
Lead the Programme's internal and external communication activities through effective communication strategies aligned with Programme objectives. Field travel across Pakistan is vital for the role (25% of the time). Position is based in Islamabad. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further selection process. No TA/DA shall be admissible. The PMU reserves the right to adjust the number of posts or cancel the recruitment.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the Programme's internal and external communication activities through effective communication strategies aligned with Programme objectives
- Develop and disseminate communication materials and key messages including press releases, articles, blogs, publications, newsletters, brochures, flyers, fact sheets and infographics
- Manage the Programme's official digital and social media platforms including the project website, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter) and YouTube
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BS Media Sciences, MS Media Sciences, BS Mass Communication, MS Mass Communication, in Journalism, recognised by HEC
- At least 16 years of education - BS/MS in Media Sciences, Mass Communications or related field
- Social media and website management experience
- Video editing expertise
- Fluent English (verbal and written) and Urdu proficiency
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- 5 years of communication, media and public relations or related discipline with preferably 3 years of experience with an international or national development sector organization
Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 45 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 5 Oct 2026.
