About this vacancy
NUST invites online applications for the post of Associate Professor - Electrical Engineering at College of Aeronautical Engineering, Department of Avionics Engineering. Job Reference: Job/F134-RA1/10/10/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Teach UG / PG courses as per defined workload
- Supervise UG/PG students in FYPs and Thesis
- Institutional administrative responsibilities, as required
Eligibility criteria
- PhD Electronics Engineering, in Electrical Engineering, recognised by HEC, PEC
- Specialty in Control Systems
- Relevant PEC registration number required
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- Minimum 05 years teaching/research experience (at least 03 years post-PhD) in HEC recognized University or post-graduate institution; 05 publications in HEC W/X category journals
- Experience accepted from: HEC Recognized University, Post-graduate Institution
Age limit
- All candidates: 25 – 59 years
