NUST invites online applications for the post of Lecturer - Nursing at NUST School of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing. Job Reference: Job/F179/10/05/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare course plans, lesson plans, teaching materials and assessments
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and academic sessions
- Facilitate learning through classroom, simulation and skills-lab activities
- Supervise students during clinical rotations and assess competencies
- Participate in examinations, paper setting, marking and results
- Assist in curriculum review and development of academic resources
- Assist in accreditation and quality assurance
- Maintain students' academic and clinical records
- Perform other duties assigned by Head/Dean
Eligibility criteria
- Nursing faculty: BSN / Post RN / BSM (NQF level 6); Basic sciences: Bachelor in health sciences; General education: Bachelor in relevant subject
- Health Sciences discipline
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Required experience: 3 – 5 years
- 3-5 years of clinical / teaching experience
Age limit
- All candidates: 24 – 45 years
