NUST invites online applications for the post of Supervisor (Mess) at University Main Office (UMO), Administration Dte. Job Reference: Job/NG-87-RA1/10/07/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Administration & management of Faculty Messes
- Provision of food and catering
- Guest room management
- Maintenance of rooms and lounges
- Inventory and asset control
- Personal hygiene and sanitation
- Mess costing and financial control
- Staff management
- Stores and procurement
- Safety and security
- Documentation and reporting
- Customer service
- Perform additional duties assigned by competent authority
Eligibility criteria
- Matric or Intermediate - Matric, F.A
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Essential: Mess Havildar or Mess JCO (Army) or hoteling experience (Civilian); Desirable: management of Officers Messes, clubs and guest rooms in Armed Forces, minimum 3 years as Mess Havildar
- Experience accepted from: Pakistan Army, Armed Forces, Hotels
Age limit
- All candidates: 20 – 45 years
