NUST invites online applications for the post of Day Care Teacher at University Main Office (UMO), NUST Creative Learning School & College. Job Reference: Job/NG-120/10/09/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise and care for children throughout daycare hours
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate learning, play and creative activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, hygienic and child-friendly environment
- Assist children with feeding, toileting and personal hygiene
- Monitor children's behaviour, health and development
- Maintain attendance and daycare records
- Communicate with parents regarding children's activities and needs
- Ensure compliance with daycare safety and child protection procedures
- Coordinate with Daycare Incharge and staff
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Graduation, Master
- Knowledge of basic childcare and early childhood development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and care in handling young children
- Basic knowledge of health, hygiene and child safety
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Required experience: 3 – 5 years
- Essential: 3 years; Desirable: 5 years
Age limit
- All candidates: 20 – 45 years
