Chief Information Security Officer

NADRA requires a Chief Information Security Officer on a contractual basis at Islamabad HQ to lead NADRA's Information Security and Cyber Security strategy, data security framework, Security Operations Centre, incident response and IS governance, risk and compliance. Selected candidate will undergo a 6 months probation period, extendable subject to performance.

• Plan and implement Data Security framework and technology
• Lead information management, governance, risk assessment and compliance frameworks
• Develop and manage the Security Operations Centre and integrate it with IT infrastructure
• Develop IT Forensic Investigations Framework and Incident Response Mechanism
• Operate and manage Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms
• Mentor application vulnerability assessment and network penetration testing
• Plan and conduct IS training and awareness activities
• Engage internal stakeholders, external partners and national/international regulatory bodies
• Drive continuous improvement of IS policies based on industry trends and emerging risks
• Represent NADRA at local and international forums on IS/CS matters

• Master's or PhD - Master's in Information Security/Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering, PhD (preferred), recognised by HEC
• Master's in Information Security/Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering from an HEC recognized institution
• Degrees must be attested by HEC
• Strong understanding of national/international regulatory requirements and best practices
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• NOC required at interview for Government/Semi-Government employees

• Required experience: At least 10 years
• Minimum 10 years in senior position(s) in Information Security operations and management roles; CISA, CISM or relevant IS audit certifications preferred

• All candidates: 18 – 55 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 11 Nov 2026.
