Consultant – Science and Technology (SPPS-III)

Consultant – Science and Technology engaged on contract in SPPS-III with the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives.

• Analyze current science and technology trends to inform policy development and strategic planning
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priority areas for research and innovation investment
• Evaluate the impact of science and technology initiatives on national development goals
• Develop frameworks to promote public-private partnerships in research and development
• Provide expert and research-based recommendations on enhancing the national science and technology infrastructure
• Facilitate capacity-building programs to strengthen skills in the science and technology sector
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on science and technology advancements
• Engage with international organizations to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange
• Advocate for evidence-based policies that support sustainable technological advancement
• Monitor emerging technologies and their potential applications for economic growth
• Carry out any other task assigned by Prime Minister, Minister and/or Secretary, PD&SI

• Bachelor's degrees across engineering, sciences, humanities and professional fields as listed in the advertisement, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline as listed in the advertisement

• Required experience: At least 7 years
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in science and technology policy, research and innovation
