Contract Manager

The Common Management Unit (CMU) is hiring a Contract Manager. The post manages the full contract lifecycle with a focus on post-award administration, performance, modifications, claims and closeout. It requires a 16-year Master's or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline and at least 12 years of contract management experience.

• Manage the full contract lifecycle with depth in post-award administration
• Interpret contractual terms, identify rights and obligations, analyze risk and develop practical recommendations
• Handle performance management, change control, cost and price implications, claims, dispute avoidance, remedies and closeout
• Analysis, negotiation, problem-solving, drafting and records management
• Work across technical and administrative disciplines
• Prepare concise reports and briefs in English and Urdu for senior management
• Develop and maintain registers, dashboards and management reports

• Bachelor's or Master's - Master's degree or equivalent (16 years of education), in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Law, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management
• Master's degree or equivalent of at least 16 years of education in business administration, public administration, project management, engineering, law, finance, economics, procurement, supply chain management, contract management or another relevant discipline
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in contract management, contract administration, commercial management or a related field
• At least seven years managing or administering complex contracts
• At least five years in public-sector and/or donor-funded programmes or similar regulated environments
• Experience with contracts in two or more of goods, works, consulting services and non-consulting services

• Required experience: At least 12 years
• At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in contract management, contract administration or commercial management, including at least seven years managing complex contracts and at least five years in public-sector and/or donor-funded programmes
• Experience accepted from: Public-sector organizations, Donor-funded programmes, Development projects

• All candidates: 18 – 50 years
