Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is hiring a Manager Operations in Nokundi, District Chagai, Balochistan. The main duty of the post is to oversee daily mining site operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted execution of project activities. The post requires Lt Col/ Maj (Retd) or MS/BS in relevant managerial skills with at least 10 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee daily mining site operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted execution of project activities
- Supervise site personnel, departmental teams, and contractors to ensure compliance with operational plans, company policies, and project requirements
- Coordinate with project management, security, administration, logistics, and technical teams to achieve operational targets
- Monitor workforce deployment, equipment utilization, material availability, and site resources to ensure effective operational performance
- Implement site security procedures, emergency response plans, and operational safety protocols in coordination with the relevant departments
- Prepare daily operational reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress, challenges, and incidents to senior management
- Ensure discipline, effective communication, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the mining site
- Identify operational risks, resolve site-level issues, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and overall project performance
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MS, BS
- Education: Lt Col/ Maj (Retd) or MS/BS in relevant managerial skills
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise personnel, and maintain discipline
- Strong understanding of site coordination, workforce planning, logistics, and resource utilization
- Ability to manage operational priorities, resolve problems, and make timely decisions under pressure
- Knowledge of site safety procedures, security protocols, emergency response, and operational risk control
- Strong coordination, negotiation, conflict resolution, and operational reporting skills
Experience required
- Required experience: 10 – 12 years
- Min 10-12 Yrs post qual experience.
