Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is hiring a Senior Manager Geologist in Nokundi, District Chagai, Balochistan. The main duty of the post is to plan and supervise mineral exploration programs and field activities. The post requires MS/ BS Geology / Applied / Economics with at least 8 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Plan and supervise mineral exploration programs and field activities
- Conduct and oversee geological mapping and sampling at different scales
- Identify and interpret lithology, alteration, mineralization, structures, and veins
- Supervise geochemical sampling, pXRF surveys, and QA/QC procedures
- Coordinate and interpret geophysical surveys (IP, ERT, MAG, and MT)
- Plan and supervise diamond drilling programs
- Ensure systematic core logging, sampling, and geological data recording
- Interpret assay results and integrate geological, geochemical, and geophysical data
- Develop geological, alteration, and mineralization models using GIS and 3D software
- Generate and evaluate mineral exploration targets
- Prepare technical reports, work plans, budgets, and progress updates
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - MS Geology, BS Geology, Applied Geology, Economic Geology
- Education: MS/ BS Geology / Applied / Economics
- Strong experience in geological mapping, drilling, core logging, and mineralization assessment
- Knowledge of geochemical, geophysical, and remote sensing exploration techniques
- Proficiency in GIS and 3D geological modelling software
- Experience in team leadership, exploration planning, and technical reporting
- Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, HSE standards, and regulatory requirements
Experience required
- Required experience: 8 – 10 years
- Min 8-10 Yrs of experience in mineral Geology.
