Assistant Director (Civil Works)

The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is hiring an Assistant Director (Civil Works) on contract, posted in Islamabad or anywhere in Pakistan. The post is offered at Executive Grade II and leads construction, renovation and infrastructure projects. It requires a civil engineering degree, valid PEC registration and 3 to 5 years of post qualification experience.

• Lead end to end execution of new construction projects, renovations and infrastructure upgradation
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents
• Prepare PC-I to PC-V
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines and cost control measures
• Lead design and engineering process for civil infrastructure projects
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Oversee repair, maintenance and upgradation of existing infrastructure

• Bachelor's or Master's - Master of Sciences (18 Years) in Engineering (Civil Engineering), Bachelor's Degree (16 Years) in Engineering (Civil Engineering), recognised by HEC, PEC
• MS (18 years) Civil Engineering with 3 years experience OR BS (16 years) Civil Engineering with 5 years experience
• Valid registration as Professional Engineer with PEC
• Preferred: PMP certification
• Preferred: Primavera, MS Project and scheduling tools
• Preferred: Knowledge of E-PADS and PPRA Rules

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• Master of Sciences (18 Years) in Civil Engineering with 03 years post qualification relevant experience, OR Bachelor Degree (16 Years) in Civil Engineering with 05 years post qualification relevant experience.

• All candidates: 18 – 40 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 1 Nov 2026.
