Manager Structure Engineering

Jinnah Medical Construction Company (JMC), a public sector company established by the Government of Pakistan under the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation and Coordination for the planning, development, construction, commissioning and operational readiness of the Jinnah Medical Complex & Research Centre (JMC&RC), Islamabad, invites applications for appointment on contract basis for three years or till completion of the JMC&RC project (whichever is earlier) on a market-based / industry-competitive pay package. Review structural designs and drawings and oversee structural construction quality, safety, and compliance.

• Review structural designs, calculations and drawings
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards and client design criteria
• Supervise and monitor structural construction activities
• Review and approve structural shop drawings, method statements and material submittals
• Conduct site inspections and identify non-conformities in structural works
• Support contract administration and respond to RFIs
• Ensure structural safety, integrity and durability throughout the project life cycle
• Identify structural risks and recommend mitigation measures
• Support evaluation of structural variations, claims and change orders
• Review quantities, BOQs and structural cost estimates
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations for management
• Any other duties assigned by the line manager

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Master's in Structural Engineering (preferred), recognised by PEC
• PEC registration required
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in structural engineering
• Key skills: structural design/review, site supervision, ETABS/SAFE/Revit
• Government servants must apply through proper channel

• No TA/DA admissible

• Required experience: At least 7 years
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in structural engineering. Experience in hospital and high-rise projects preferred. Hands-on experience with ETABS, SAFE, Autodesk Revit etc.
