Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is hiring a Finance Manager in Nokundi, District Chagai, Balochistan. The main duty of the post is to lead and supervise the entire Finance Section at the mining project site, ensuring effective financial planning, accounting, and control of all financial activities. The post requires ACCA / ICMA / CA (Finalist) with at least 16 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the entire Finance Section at the mining project site, ensuring effective financial planning, accounting, and control of all financial activities
- Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, cash flow forecasts, operational expenditures (OPEX), and capital expenditures (CAPEX)
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements
- Monitor project expenditures, analyze budget variances, control operating costs, and ensure efficient utilization of financial resources
- Supervise vendor payments, employee-related financial transactions, cash management, fund requirements, and timely settlement of financial obligations
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, statutory requirements, accounting standards, company policies, and internal control procedures
- Manage and supervise finance staff, allocate responsibilities, and coordinate with project management, procurement, HR, administration, and head office
- Submit periodic financial reports to senior management, highlight financial risks, recommend cost-saving measures, and support strategic decision-making for the mining project
Eligibility criteria
- Master's - ACCA, ICMA, CA, MS (Fin), in Accounting & Finance
- Education: ACCA / ICMA / CA (Finalist)
