Assistant Director (Finance)

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is hiring an Assistant Director (Finance) in CCP Grade-5 on contract in Islamabad. The post assists in preparing and monitoring the Commission's budget, financial statements and expenditure reports. Candidates need a relevant Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience, or ACCA/ACMA.

• Assist in preparing and monitoring the Commission's annual budget, financial statements and expenditure reports
• Ensure timely processing of payments, payroll and procurement-related financial matters
• Support financial analysis and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with public financial management rules, audit requirements and internal controls
• Coordinate with external auditors and government departments on financial and audit matters

• Bachelor's in Finance, Bachelor's in Accounting, Bachelor's in Commerce, Bachelor's in Business Administration, ACCA, ACMA, in Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business Administration from an HEC-recognized institution, or ACCA/ACMA or equivalent
• 3 years post-qualification experience (not applicable for ACCA/ACMA)
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools
• Sound grip on tax-related Acts and laws
• Contract appointment for 2 years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance
• Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from the parent department

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• 3 years post-qualification experience in financial management, budgeting and accounting within a public or private sector. Experience not applicable in case of ACCA/ACMA.
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector, Private Sector

• All candidates: 18 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
• Age is counted on the closing date, 8 Nov 2026.
• Further relaxation as per government rules.
