The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is hiring a Qasid/Cook in CCP Grade-2 on contract in Islamabad. The post prepares food and tea for officers and visitors and manages the kitchen and pantry. Candidates need Matric and 5 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare and cook local, continental and fast-food items along with tea and refreshments for officers, executives and visitors
- Maintain high standards of taste, hygiene and presentation
- Manage the kitchen and pantry and maintain stock and supplies
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness of cooking equipment and work areas
- Serve meals on time for official meetings and events
Eligibility criteria
- Matric
- 5 years experience
- Skilled, punctual and well-presented
- Contract appointment for 2 years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance
- Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from the parent department
- Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- 5 years experience in preparing a variety of cuisines, preferably in an institutional, hotel or catering setting.

Age limit
- All candidates: 18 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
