Assistant Director (Exemptions)

The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is hiring an Assistant Director (Exemptions) in CCP Grade-5 on contract in Islamabad. The post analyzes exemption requests and conducts assessments under competition law. Candidates need a Bachelor's in Law, Economics or Finance with 3 years of experience, or ACCA/ACMA.

• Analyze exemption requests and conduct assessments
• Maintain and update office records and case documentation
• Manage evidence gathered from various sources and mediums

• Bachelor's in Law, Bachelor's in Economics, Bachelor's in Finance, ACCA, ACMA, in Law, Economics, Accounting & Finance, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Economics or Finance from an HEC-recognized institution, or ACCA/ACMA or equivalent
• 3 years post-qualification experience (not applicable for ACCA/ACMA)
• Thorough understanding of Competition Law and related regulations
• Solid grasp of regulatory frameworks, particularly concerning exemptions
• Contract appointment for 2 years, extendable subject to satisfactory performance
• Government employees must apply through proper channel with NOC from the parent department
• Incomplete or late applications will not be considered
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• 3 years post-qualification experience. Not applicable in case of ACCA/ACMA. Candidates with experience in regulatory bodies will be given preference.

• All candidates: 18 – 30 years (+5 years relaxation)
• Age is counted on the closing date, 8 Nov 2026.
• Further relaxation as per government rules.

An upper limit of 35 years means you must not have reached that age on the date age is counted. A relaxation applies only to the candidates the advertisement names, with the proof it asks for.
