Data Governance Liaison

Data Governance Liaison at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, negotiating and documenting data-sharing arrangements with departments and PITB.

• Liaise with PITB, departments and named data stewards to define indicators, verify baselines and agree data-sharing terms for priority datasets under the Punjab Government Data Exchange
• Maintain the data-sharing agreement register, data catalogues and audit trails for datasets used across the six pillars
• Support departments in preparing data for connection: identifying identifiers, quality gaps and consent/legal requirements
• Coordinate with the Head of Responsible AI & Compliance and the Legal Expert on data protection and privacy compliance for shared datasets
• Track and report on data-readiness across priority sectors, flagging where governance is blocking delivery

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or AI, in Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
• Exposure to government or regulated data ideal
• Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
• Data governance frameworks and metadata management
• Working knowledge of data protection and privacy principles
• Stakeholder liaison across technical and departmental audiences
• Documentation and audit-trail discipline

• Required experience: At least 5 years
• At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management or a related information systems role, ideally with exposure to government or regulated data
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 26 – 45 years
