Duties and responsibilities
- Manage construction and rehabilitation works of civil structures at power plants and allied infrastructure
- Prepare scope of works and tender documents for civil and rehabilitation works
- Prepare detailed budget breakdown of costs for unscheduled major repair of civil and hydraulic structures and obtain Technical Sanction from the concerned Authority
- Ensure compliance with civil construction design, construction methodology, applicable codes and MRS Rate System
- Support irrigation canal operations, SOPs and operation and regulation of spillway gates
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor|Master - Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering, Masters degree in relevant Engineering field is an added advantage, in Civil Engineering/Sciences, Civil Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Minimum Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering; Masters degree in the relevant field of Engineering from an HEC recognized university is an added advantage
- Overall 8 years experience in the field of civil engineering with at least 04 years experience in hydropower construction, development and generation
- Expertise in project management and preparation of scope of works for construction and rehabilitation of civil structures at power plants
- Hands-on experience preparing tender documents
- Familiarity with civil construction design, construction methodology, applicable codes and the MRS Rate System
- Understanding of irrigation canal operations, SOPs and operation of spillway gates
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Overall 8 years experience in the field of civil engineering with at least 04 years experience in hydropower construction, development and generation
