Duties and responsibilities
- Oversee operations and maintenance of hydropower plants during commercial operation
- Oversee power generation and optimization from hydropower plants
- Carry out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and submit test protocols and reports to higher offices and concerned entities
- Manage inventory control and management systems for spare parts, consumables and tools and draft material requisitions
- Coordinate with public sector entities such as NTDC, DISCOs, NEPRA, CPPA-G and IRSA
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor|Master - Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydropower Engineering, Masters degree in relevant Engineering field is an added advantage, in Electrical Engineering/Sciences, Electronics Engineering/Sciences, Mechanical Engineering/Sciences, Hydro Power Engineering, recognised by HEC
- Minimum Graduate degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Hydropower Engineering from an HEC recognized Institution; Masters degree in relevant Engineering field is an added advantage
- Overall 8 years experience in the respective field of engineering with at least 04 years experience of O&M of hydropower plants
- Thorough knowledge of power plant equipment and principles of plant operations and maintenance
- Knowledge of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of hydropower projects
- Knowledge of inventory control and management systems
- Familiarity with Market Schedule Rates (MRS Rates) of all districts of Punjab and HSE practices
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 8 years
- Overall 8 years experience in the respective field of engineering with at least 04 years experience of O&M of hydropower plants
