DevOps Engineer for the Industrial Planning & Analysis Cell (IPAC) at the Directorate General of Industries, Prices, Weights & Measures, Punjab.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
- Manage and optimize infrastructure in the Data Center
- Configure, monitor and maintain container orchestration platforms
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery and failover strategies
- Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, CloudWatch)
- Manage Linux and Windows servers, networking and firewalls
- Collaborate with development teams to automate build, test and deployment processes
- Enforce security best practices and compliance policies in DevOps processes
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering, in Computer Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
- 16 years of education in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering from an HEC recognized university
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, data centre infrastructure and monitoring and logging stacks
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 5 years
- Minimum 05 years of relevant experience
