Drone Operator (PPS-5) for the GIS Lab of the Punjab Forest Department, capturing aerial imagery for natural resource monitoring.
Duties and responsibilities
- Pilot drones to capture high quality aerial footage and imagery for natural resource applications
- Plan and execute drone flights including route mapping and camera settings
- Carry out drone maintenance and equipment calibration
- Process and hand over captured data to the GIS Lab
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years), Bachelors (14 Years), in Any Discipline, recognised by HEC
- Bachelors degree (Second Division) from an HEC recognized university
- Minimum one (01) year post-qualification experience in drone piloting for natural resource applications
- Skilled in planning and executing drone flights including route mapping and camera settings
- Proficiency in drone maintenance, equipment calibration and data processing
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 1 year
- Minimum one (01) year post-qualification experience piloting drones to capture high-quality aerial footage and imagery for natural resource applications
Age limit
- All candidates: 22 – 28 years
