BS-17 Emergency Officer post on contract basis for a period of 03 years in the Emergency Services Department (Rescue 1122), Punjab, posted at Headquarters. • Bachelor's - MBBS, B.Sc Engineering, in Medicine, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Mining Engineering, City & Regional Planning, Transportation Engineering, recognised by Higher Education Commission, Pakistan Medical Commission, Pakistan Engineering Council
• MBBS with valid registration from PMDC or PMC, or B.Sc Engineering (second division) in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, Mechatronics, Automobile, Mining, City & Regional Planning or Transportation from an HEC recognized university with valid registration from the relevant council
• Must clear medical screening and physical test conducted by the Punjab Emergency Service Department
• All Punjab basis domicile

• No prior experience is required for this post.

• All candidates: 24 – 32 years
• Age is counted on the closing date, 5 Aug 2026.
• No age relaxation is allowed.

One paper MCQ type written test of 100 marks and 90 minutes duration covering general ability including General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Islamic Studies (General Knowledge for non-Muslim candidates), Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies. Physical standards: 25 sit-ups per minute; 25 push-ups per minute; running and jumping one mile in 8 minutes for males (12 minutes for males above 35 years) and 12 minutes for females; chest 33 inches (males only); height 5 feet 6 inches (preference); eyesight 6/6 without glasses; BMI below 30. Candidates must clear initial medical screening and physical test conducted by the Punjab Emergency Service Department before the written test, psychological assessment and interview.
