About this vacancy
NUST invites online applications for the post of Lab Engineer - Computer Science at NUST Balochistan Campus, Department of Computer Science. Job Reference: Job/F136-RA1/10/12/2026. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview; no TA/DA admissible.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assist students in teaching and lab work
- Manage and maintain lab equipment and facilities
- Conduct routine inspections, calibration, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of lab equipment
- Assist faculty, researchers and students in lab experiments and research activities
- Perform any other duties assigned by HoD, Dean or management
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's or Master's - BSCS, BSAI, MSCS, in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, recognised by HEC, PEC
- Relevant PEC registration number required
- Last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC
- No 3rd Division in academic career
- NUST employees need minimum one year service and NOC from Head of Institution
- Candidates must not be in process of pursuing the required degree
- Candidates must be medically fit
- Govt/Armed Forces employees must apply through parent department
Experience required
- Required experience: 2 – 3 years
- 2-3 years of working in CS labs or similar labs; strong programming skills (Python, VS Code, Java, C++); strong CS and AI fundamentals; excellent communication skills
Age limit
- All candidates: 22 – 55 years
- Age is counted on the closing date, 1 Nov 2026.
