Legal Assistant engaged on lump-sum contract with the National Tariff Commission, supporting legal documentation, research and trade remedy investigations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Support preparation of responses, submissions, pleadings and legal documentation
- Manage court processes and related matters
- Conduct legal research on domestic and international trade laws
- Assist in drafting legal opinions, briefing notes and analytical papers
- Maintain legal databases and case-law compilations
- Assist in legal review of anti-dumping and countervailing duty investigations
- Perform additional assignments as directed by senior officials
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's - Graduate, preferably law graduate (LLB) from an HEC-recognized institution, recognised by HEC
Experience required
- No prior experience is required for this post.
