Partnerships Lead (Government / Startups & Enterprise)

Partnerships Lead at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, building government, startup and enterprise partnerships for the AI portfolio.

• Develop and manage relationships with departments and public entities as demand-side partners for AI use-cases; negotiate inter-governmental MoUs and data-sharing arrangements with pillar squads and Policy Advisors
• Map and engage AI startups, incubators, accelerators and venture investors relevant to the pillar portfolio; design and run AI challenges, hackathons and pilots-with-startups
• Manage partnerships with established technology companies - cloud/AI providers, telecoms, systems integrators and large local enterprises - for compute credits, licensing and co-development
• Structure lightweight contracting/sandbox pathways for startups and enterprises to work with government, with the Policy Advisors
• Maintain the partnership pipeline and account plans; track partnership deliverables and report against KPIs to the Head of Partnerships & Ecosystem

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) in Business, Economics, Public Policy or Computer Science, in Business Administration, Economics, Public Policy, Computer Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Computer Science or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
• Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
• Government relations and institutional agreement negotiation
• Startup-ecosystem knowledge and networks
• Enterprise account and alliance management
• Program coordination and reporting
• Strong writing and presentation skills

• Required experience: At least 4 years
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in partnerships, business development, account management or program management across government, startup or enterprise tracks
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 26 – 45 years
