Duties and responsibilities
- Plan and shoot video for events, hackathons, field visits and interviews
- Operate camera, lighting and audio equipment and ensure technical quality on location
- Manage footage ingest, backup, labelling and handover to the Video Editor
- Maintain and account for the Unit's video equipment
- Observe consent, privacy and data-protection requirements when filming citizens, officials and departmental premises
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Film, Media Production or Mass Communication, or an equivalent professional qualification with a demonstrated portfolio, in Media And Mass Communication, Film Studies, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Film, Media Production, Mass Communication or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification from an HEC recognized university/institution with a demonstrated portfolio
- Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
- Camera, lighting and field-audio operation
- Shot planning and visual storytelling
- Footage management and backup discipline
- Equipment care and inventory
- Awareness of consent and privacy requirements
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 2 years
- At least 2 years of professional videography; showreel required
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
Age limit
- All candidates: 24 – 45 years
