About this vacancy
Social Media Manager at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, running the Unit's social channels and social listening.
Duties and responsibilities
- Publish and schedule approved content across the Unit's social channels
- Monitor mentions, comments and messages; respond to routine queries and escalate sensitive or policy matters to the Communications & Outreach Specialist
- Maintain social listening on AI-related public discourse in Punjab and prepare weekly sentiment summaries
- Compile engagement statistics and support campaign reporting
- Assist with live coverage of events, hackathons and launches
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Media Studies or Marketing, in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media And Mass Communication, recognised by HEC
- Bachelor's degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Marketing or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution/university
- Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
- Community management and tone judgement
- Social-listening and scheduling tools
- Basic analytics and reporting
- Writing in English and Urdu
- Responsiveness and escalation discipline
Experience required
- Required experience: At least 3 years
- At least 3 years of hands-on social-media operation for an organization, agency or public body
- Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
Age limit
