About this vacancy
Surveyor (PPS-3) for the GIS Lab of the Punjab Forest Department, carrying out field survey work for the GIS-based protection regime.
Duties and responsibilities
- Carry out field surveys of forest and wildlife areas
- Record and submit survey measurements and field data
- Support demarcation and mapping activities
- Assist the GIS Lab with ground-truthing of spatial data
Eligibility criteria
- Intermediate or Diploma - Higher Secondary School Certificate (12 years), Diploma of Surveying, in Any Discipline, Surveying, recognised by HEC
- Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) from a recognized board
- Diploma of Surveying from a recognized institute
Experience required
- No prior experience is required for this post.
