The Petroleum Division is an administrative division of the Ministry of Energy in the Government of Pakistan. It is tasked with ensuring a secure, sustainable, and optimized supply of oil, gas, and mineral resources to fuel the country's economic growth and strategic needs. Originally established in April 1977 as the Petroleum & Natural Resources Division, it was formally merged into the unified Ministry of Energy in August 2017.
