Assist. Manager (VA & PT)

Assistant Manager (VA & PT) at the Punjab Information Technology Board, running the vulnerability assessment and penetration testing programme.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive VAPT program, ensuring adherence to industry-standard methodologies and timelines
• Conduct and oversee penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using tools such as Nessus, Nexpose, Nmap, Metasploit, OpenVAS and Burp Suite
• Track and report VAPT program effectiveness through metrics such as identified, remediated and pending vulnerabilities
• Analyze results to prioritize vulnerabilities by risk and recommend actionable remediation
• Collaborate with development, security and IT operations teams to address identified vulnerabilities effectively
• Ensure secure SDLC checkpoints, security approvals and risk exceptions are documented

• Bachelor's or Master's - Masters/Bachelors (Hons) (16 years), in Computer Engineering/Sciences, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Information Engineering/Sciences, Software Engineering, recognised by HEC
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
• Required certifications: CISA, CISM or CISSP

• Required experience: At least 4 years
• Minimum 4 year(s) of relevant experience
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations
