Impact-Assessment Reviewer

Impact-Assessment Reviewer at the Artificial Intelligence Delivery Unit, conducting algorithmic impact assessments for high-risk AI use-cases.

• Conduct algorithmic impact assessments for high-risk AI use-cases before procurement and deployment, covering fairness, bias, explainability and citizen impact
• Apply the Unit's risk-classification framework to new use-cases, flagging prohibited or high-risk applications for escalation
• Review bias-testing and evaluation evidence submitted by pillar and engineering teams; recommend mitigations where risks are found
• Maintain the public registry of AI systems in use, including purpose, risk classification and oversight arrangements
• Support periodic post-deployment review of high-risk systems already in production

• Master's degree (16 years of education) in Data Science, Computer Science or Law, in Law, Data Science, Computer Engineering/Sciences, recognised by HEC
• Master's degree (16 years of education) in Data Science, Computer Science, Law or a related field from an HEC-recognized university
• Preference would be given to foreign qualified candidates with proven track record
• Algorithmic impact assessment methodology
• Bias, fairness and explainability evaluation
• Risk classification and structured review writing
• Working knowledge of AI/ML systems

• Required experience: At least 7 years
• At least 7 years of experience in impact assessment, technology risk/compliance review or applied AI ethics
• Experience accepted from: Public Sector Organizations, Private Sector Organizations

• All candidates: 28 – 45 years
