Marketing/Export Promotion Officer - Salt Business

PMDC invites applications for the post of Marketing/Export Promotion Officer (Salt Business) on open-term contract (permanent basis) with market-based negotiable salary.

• Identify and develop new customers, distributors, dealers, importers, exporters, retailers and institutional buyers
• Identify and develop new domestic and international markets using market intelligence, data analytics and BI tools
• Promote PMDC salt products through digital marketing, social media, B2B platforms, exhibitions, trade fairs and business meetings
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and follow up inquiries and leads
• Prepare quotations, commercial offers, product presentations, samples and marketing materials
• Explore opportunities for bulk, retail, food-grade, industrial, value-added and private-label salt products in local and export markets
• Assist in export-related activities including documentation, shipment arrangements, payment terms and other commercial requirements
• Support management in preparing and achieving local and export sales targets and annual marketing plans
• Perform any other sales, marketing, export promotion and business development duties assigned by management

• Bachelor's or Master's - Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Economics
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Commerce, Economics or related field
• Departmental candidates must apply through proper channel

• Required experience: At least 3 years
• Minimum 3 years of post-qualification relevant experience in sales, marketing, export promotion, international business development, preferably in salt, minerals, food products, FMCG, or commodities

• All candidates: 18 – 35 years
